Our Story
Everyone Has a Story — Here’s Ours
Our journey began in 2001, rooted in resilience, healing, and a desire to help others.
After overcoming years of self-harm, our founder, Vicki, launched a self-help website called EndAllThePain. That step led to the creation of a self-harm support group on November 4, 2005. Just a year later, we became an official nonprofit: Launching Point, a dedicated support and resource center for those struggling with self-injury.
Since then, we’ve supported thousands of individuals on their healing journeys, speaking in schools, churches, and conferences. Over time, our mission expanded.
Today, we not only walk alongside those facing self-harm, but we also educate loved ones, schools, and first responders on how to provide support.
As we evolved, so did our name — we’re now Love More Judge Less, a nonprofit bringing hope, connection, and change to our community and beyond.

About Us
We are a unique charity that is home to the 1st self-injury support group in NJ that began in 2005. In 2006, we were officially registered as Launching Point, a 501(c)3 charitable organization that serves as a self-injury support & resource center. Our mission is helping people overcome self-injury through support, resources, activities, and volunteerism.
In 2014 we started a talk show, Share Your Scars. In 2019 we launched an online store with inspiring & encouraging sayings on buttons, wristbands, stickers, and lanyards.
We also offer support to help people overcome self-harm and body-focused repetitive behavior. We also offer a “complimentary cafe“ where people can come to hangout, do some work or just getaway for an hour or two; we offer coffee, tea, hot chocolate, bottled water and seltzer. Launching Point is a unique charity that serves as a self-injury support and resource center that started in 2005 in Florham Park, Nzj.
We are here for you; to support you and guide you on your path in this thing called life. We accept you as you are will help you find the resources you need to help you on your path to recovery.
Our Focus:
Our focus is people; we accept people as they are and we advocate for people when they need us. We also have a safe location with a gift shop with inspiring products designed by us.
- We offer seminars (onsite & offsite), workshops, events, and activities.
- We mail self-injury awareness information to schools and hospitals.
- We attend festivals where we set up a booth to bring awareness on self-harm and our products with encouraging messages.
- Through our the messages on our products, we bring hope, awareness, and inspiration.
In 2005 we began the first self-injury support group in NJ and it continued as Beyond Bandages through June 2021 And then from January 2023 through February 2025.
