1st Self-Harm Support Group in NJ
In 2005 we began the first self-injury support group in NJ and it continued as Beyond Bandages through June 2021 And then from January 2023 through February 2025.

Hi all, the self-harm support group that we have offered since 2005 is coming to an end in March. I had no idea when I started this group on November 5, 2005 that it would become an essential part of so many people's lives.
Please join with me and past members on Thursday, March 6 to look back at the amazing things that took place. I am thrilled to say that I started the first ever self-harm support group in New Jersey that launched on November 4, 2005. I hope you will join me on Thursday, March 6 to celebrate and look back on all the lives that were changed, different things that we did as a support group, reaching out to the community and will be a great time to reflect and celebrate.
